Seattle Casting Workshop October 11th & 12th, 2025

This 2 day casting workshop will start at 9:00am Saturday and finish at 2:00 on Sunday. This workshop is a basic to intermediate orthopedic fracture casting. The all hands-on agenda will include; 1) tools of the cast room, 2) cast removal, 3) Short arm cast, 4) Thumb spica cast, 5) Short leg cast, 6) Long am cast, 7)New immobilization techniques. All students are asked to bring a box of gloves, a towel and a pair of patient care scissors. We never know your glove size or allergies. We are also asking students to bring 4 rolls of 2" cast tape so they can do 2 casts with the same casting tape they use in their office. We will have additional supplies of fiberglass, padding and stockinet at the workshop. The workshop continues with online orthopedic study materials for the motivated caster.
